Technical information and system requirements

Here are the minimum recommended specifications for hardware and software to run PowerSun Solarium Automation. Please note that this is only a guide. To ensure that your proposed hardware/software environment is compatible with PowerSun Solarium Automation, please contact us prior to purchase.

Minimum recommended computer system

Pentium III 500 MHz
128 MB RAM
120 MB free hard-disk space
CD-ROM drive
Floppy disk, Zip disk or any Internet connection (for backups)
Video display capable of at least 800x600 x 16 bit colour depth, with at least 4 MB RAM
Keyboard
Mouse
Bi-directional/ECP/EPP parallel port or USB port
2 Serial ports

Supported operating systems

Windows 2000 Professional
Windows XP Professional

(Windows 2000 Professional is recommended)

Please note that PowerSun Solarium Automation is no longer compatible with Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium Edition or Windows NT 4.0

Device controllers

PowerSun Solarium Automation comes with its own device controller. Please contact us if you already own a different device controller.
