PowerSun SA multi-terminal mode

For busier salons, PowerSun Solarium Automation is now multi-terminal compatible. This means that you can have several computers on a network in your salon, all running PowerSun Solarium Automation and communicating with each other. For instance, you could have one computer in the reception area, and a computer for each cubicle with a touchscreen mounted onto each cubicle's door. Each terminal can book sunbeds, see the status of a tanning unit, start or stop a tanning unit, etc.

 Multi-terminal connection diagram

Key:

  1. The PowerSun SA network: several PC's connected to a local area network, all running the PowerSun Solarium Automation software. One PC is designated as the master machine. The master is responsible for communicating with the device managers (2). All others machines on the network are designated as slaves.
  2. PowerSun SA Device manager. The device controller usually connects to the PC via a RS-232 serial cable.
  3. Not only sunbeds and infrared beds can be connected to PowerSun SA, but also music players, lamps, etc. A total number of about 2000 devices can be controlled by PowerSun SA.
  4. This is achieved by cascading up to 250 PowerSun Device Managers in a manner that only the first needs to be connected to the master machine.
